Calphurnia: Seriously, you would not believe the encounter I had with my husband today, men are impossible.
Portia: Just vent, it helps.
Calphurnia: I felt like he was hiding something from me, ME? His loving wife of all people? I know he has his rights as a man and his work at the senate is not my place to be involved but I had this odd and frightening dream that his statue was cascading and flowing with his blood and the townspeople were washing and bathing in it. I didn't want him to go to the senate today because of my dream AND I didn't have a good feeling about it. Then, he got mad at me and I literally had to beg him not to go, in which he ridiculed me of it when a senate member came by the house later.
Portia: Oh gee, sounds like you've got alot on your hands, but to be quite honest men are just like that some times, they can be jerks. But at the same time they have different mind sets than we do, we all know Caesar has his pride and confidence and sometimes it can reach a point to where it's overwhelming and he gets TOO confident. I wouldn't sweat it if I were you, but begging him to stay home was a good move.
Calphurnia: I just feel like sometimes he doesn't appreciate me, I am trustworthy, afterall I am his wife. At times, I feel like I am merely his servant, in the bedroom and in the kitchen. I feel like I'm no companion because I simply try to carry a conversation and get blown off. What am I to do in a situation like this?
Portia: I'm sorry dear, you just have to tell him how you feel in hopes he won't take it to the extreme.
Calphurnia: Thank you, talking really helped if you ever need to talk about anything *cough cough* Brutus, I'll be here for you Portia.
Portia: Thank you for being a good friend, things with Brutus are usual...
Calphurnia: That doesn't sound too reassuring.
Portia: It never is with MEN.
The END.
LOL - This is great. Well done!
